Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Manufacturing

Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for an air compressor and electrical generator assembly manufacturer in Henderson, NV. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $20.00/hr on a Monday–Friday day schedule with no weekends. In this role, you will pick, pack, and ship outbound orders and receive and document inbound deliveries using ERP and WMS systems in a manufacturing plant environment. Overtime is required, and this is a long-term placement opportunity with a stable, Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship outbound transfer orders and component sales orders using ERP and WMS systems in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Receive and check in inbound warehouse deliveries, verifying shipment accuracy and documenting all receipts into the ERP system.
  • Conduct physical verification of received goods, report discrepancies or damages, and provide labeling information to inventory and operations teams.
  • Assist with put-away of inbound inventory, organizing items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and inventory teams to resolve shipment issues and keep orders moving on time.
  • Track and document outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness according to established protocols.


Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse, or inventory coordination.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification (sit-down).
  • Experience with outbound order processing, including pick, pack, and ship workflows.
  • Familiarity with inbound receiving processes such as physical verification, discrepancy reporting, and inventory put-away.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial warehouse environment.
  • Comfort with cross-functional coordination — working alongside production, planning, and inventory teams.
  • Ability to use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management system (WMS) (Warehouse Management Systems), and Excel to update inventory counts and compile reports.
  • Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
