Senior Mobile Developer (React Native & React)

The client is seeking a driven and self-motivated Senior Mobile Engineer who is focused on building and delivering high-quality native app experiences (iOS/Android). You will work with a growing team to build a seamless user experience for their native app. Ideally, you have experience working with early stage startups and have worked with the React Native Framework. Location: 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the between Central Time and Eastern Time US Time Zone. Responsibilities <ul> <li> Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to understand </li> </ul> requirements and translate them into technical specifications. <ul> <li> Design, develop, andmaintainhigh-quality mobile applications using React Native. </li> <li> Work closely with the rest of our engineering team to connect with our API </li> <li> Communicate effectively with the executive team internally, as well as apply a </li> </ul> consultative approach externally with clients and/or strategic partners <ul> <li> Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices. </li> <li> Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding </li> </ul> standards. <ul> <li> Leverage data to inform decisions and define metrics to measure the success of new </li> </ul> features <ul> <li> Have a passion for coding and getting your hands dirty </li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li> 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years </li> </ul> working specifically with React Native. <ul> <li> Proficiency in React </li> <li> Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React Native framework. </li> <li> Experience with state management libraries such as Redux orMobX. </li> <li> Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns. </li> <li> Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. </li> <li> Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. </li> <li> Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small, remote team </li> </ul> environment. <ul> <li> Experience utilizing AI, i.e. Claude, and an eagerness to continue incorporating AI </li> <li> Willingness to start part-time and grow towards full-time hours </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related area. </li> <li> Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.). </li> <li> Familiarity with GraphQL and TypeScript. </li> <li> Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing your work. </li> </ul> What We Offer: <ul> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li> <li>A collaborative and inclusive work environment.</li> <li>The chance to work on impactful projects with a talented team.</li> <li>Excellent compensation in USD.</li> <li>Hardware and software setup.</li> </ul>
