Process Engineer

Basic Job Functions:

Support the new machine installation and qualification, troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues, identity and/or implement system improvement that contributes to the achievement of throughput, yield and product performance goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Sustain manufacturing processes to ensure no process deviation and a controlled process.
• Drive high yield and efficient performance in manufacturing processes.
• Responsible to develop, continually improve, and document robust manufacturing processes to achieve the highest product performance in a cost efficient manner.
• Plan process experiments, collects and analyses data and reports experiment results.
• Develop, document, and enforces standard operating procedures and process description.
• Responsible to interface with inside sales and supplier representatives.
• Maintain effective communication levels and fosters Team Building.
• Exhibits a self-directed, proactive approach to problem solving.
• Evaluate new proposed equipment according to process standards.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Requirement

• Bachelors Degree in a Engineering discipline or Physical Science Field or the equivalent. Preferably: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering
• more than 5 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, statistical methods and SPC tools.
• Robust Engineering/Design of Experiments, Six Sigma, and FMEA
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.
• Knowledge of Engineering Techniques and Practices.
