We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer (RM3,000 ā€“ RM4,000) to support the development and maintenance of our software applications and internal systems.

This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and gain hands-on experience in software development.

šŸ›  Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Support

  • Assist in developing and maintaining software applications and systems
  • Support frontend and backend development tasks
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Assist in implementing system features based on requirements
  • Ensure applications are functional, scalable, and user-friendly

System Maintenance & Debugging

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or technical issues
  • Perform testing and debugging to ensure system stability
  • Support system updates, enhancements, and optimizations

Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders on project requirements
  • Assist in integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems and APIs
  • Follow development guidelines, coding standards, and best practices

āœ… Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java, or PHP)
  • Familiarity with software development concepts and lifecycle
  • Basic understanding of databases (e.g. MySQL) is a plus
  • Knowledge of frameworks or libraries is an advantage
  • Able to communicate effectively in English & Chinese
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
