We’re seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time Childcare Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidates are caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting children’s daily routines and learning through play.Key Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers with daily classroom routines, activities, and supervision.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes children’s social–emotional development.
- Assist with meal/snack times, diapering/toileting, and nap routines following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and sanitize materials in accordance with center procedures.
- Communicate positively with children, staff, and families.
- Uphold licensing regulations and center policies at all times.
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, school, camp, or similar setting preferred.
- Warm, patient, and reliable; able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
- Preferred: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Monday through Friday.
- Hourly rate: $17–$20/hour, based on experience.
