Savan Group is seeking an eLearning & 508 Compliance Specialist to support a federal client in delivering high-quality solutions across training development, process improvement, and broader program support activities. This individual will play a key role in instructional redesign and eLearning development, with a primary focus on modernizing mandatory training programs related to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Records Management. In parallel, the role will contribute to process development, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts, helping enhance program efficiency, standardization, and overall delivery effectiveness. The individual will also be responsible for developing, assessing, and remediating documents and templates to ensure Section 508 compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools and remediation techniques aligned with WCAG 2.1, Section 508 standards, and ARIA guidelines. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Articulate Storyline 360, along with the ability to work across multiple workstreams, including training development, stakeholder coordination, and operational support. This role requires someone who can translate complex policy and technical requirements into clear, streamlined training content and repeatable processes, while ensuring alignment with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal LMS requirements. Role Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Support the design, development, and delivery of training and program support materials aligned to client priorities</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Contribute to the development of instructional materials and eLearning modules, including content structuring, storyboarding, and tool-based development (e.g., Articulate Storyline)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Translate complex policy, regulatory, and technical information into clear, user-friendly content for diverse audiences</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Support the development and implementation of assessments and knowledge checks to reinforce learning objectives and program outcomes</li></ul><ul style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including recommending enhancements to training approaches, processes, and tools</li></ul><ul style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Perform quality assurance and testing to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with requirements across deliverables</li><li style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;margin-left:8px;">Review and correct program documents, PDFs, and e-learning materials to meet accessibility standards.</li><li style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;margin-left:8px;">Use assistive technology tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, ANDI) to assess content structure, reading order, alt text, tables, and hyperlinks.</li><li style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;margin-left:8px;">Test and remediate e-learning modules developed in Articulate Storyline to ensure full compliance with WCAG and Section 508 standards.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Ensure deliverables align with accessibility standards (Section 508 / WCAG) and organizational guidelines</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Support LMS integration, deployment, and content updates as needed</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and team members to gather input, validate outputs, and incorporate feedback across iterative review cycles</li></ul><ul style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Establish and track metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, including knowledge retention, compliance adoption, and user feedback</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on training improvements, emerging instructional technologies, and workforce readiness needs</li></ul> Qualifications and Requirements: Required Qualifications<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">5+ years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline, including accessibility features, testing, and remediation (required)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Certified DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Demonstrated experience creating and testing documents and e-learning modules for Section 508 compliance</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG accessibility standards</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills</li></ul><ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">U.S. Citizenship </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Experience supporting federal training programs (CUI, Records Management, or compliance training)</li><li style="margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Confidential Business Information (CBI) or privacy/security programs or regulatory frameworks</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-top:7px;margin-bottom:7px;">Experience with FedTalent or similar federal LMS platforms</li><li
