CSR - Customer Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY: Employee is responsible for the administrative tasks and daily customer interaction supporting the in processing and out processing of privately owned vehicles (POVs).

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Site Manager or Assistant Manager of VPC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Must follow all safety requirements
  2. Greet customers and family members with a smile and positive attitude at all times.
  3. Provide needed information pertaining to shipping and/or receiving their vehicle.
  4. Assist customers with all questions they may have regarding moving their vehicles.
  5. Perform a combination of clerical tasks to support administrative operations, to include creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy records and files, receiving, preparing and verifying documents, preparing reports, checking and answering e-mails and other general administrative duties
  6. Make appointment reminder calls the day prior to the next day’s appointment.
  7. Send customer e-mails
  8. Ensure the customer waiting area is clean, safe and welcoming.
  9. Ensure the hospitality area is clean and well stocked, ensure restrooms are well stocked, clean and function properly.
  10. Perform scanning, uploading and filing to maintain accurate data files
  11. Respond to routine request by e-mail, phone, in person, or by correspondence
  12. Perform the above duties in accordance with the IAL Standard Operating Procedures

  13. Maintains clean work areas
  14. Perform Pre-check on vehicle i.e. mileage, gas level, cleanliness etc.
  15. Answer phones, file, create files, documentation handling and key handling
  16. Prepare certified letters for mailing to customers when due.
  17. Other duties as assigned by Management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform duties in a normal office environment, to include, lifting file boxes, printer paper boxes, bending, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must have a valid US driver's license
  2. Must be customer oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate to people
  3. Must be able to perform accurate data entry tasks, scanning and uploading documents
  4. Communicate appropriately and demonstrate ability to work with management, staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and coworkers
  5. High school graduate, associate degree a plus
  6. Previous computer and data entry experience
  7. Demonstrated ability with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  8. Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language
  9. Must have 3 years’ customer-facing customer service experience
  10. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  11. Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  12. Must be punctual daily for work

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.40 per hour
